What do we actually do?

Good question. Here’s the short version of what we handle:

• Roof cleaning and moss removal
• Roof scraping and algae treatment for roof surfaces
• Roof painting and tile sealing
• Ridge tile repairs
• Gutter cleaning and drainage clearance

Algae builds up fierce fast on north-facing pitches, especially after a wet winter. We use a biocide treatment that kills it at the root, not just scrubs the surface. That matters, because the growth comes back if you don’t treat it properly.

Why does the roof get ignored?

Out of sight, out of mind. That’s the honest answer. Most people don’t look up until there’s a leak or the gutters are falling off the fascia. However, catching it early costs a fraction of what it costs to fix when it’s gone too far. A good clean and a seal can add years to a tile roof.

We don’t use pressure that strips the granules off the tiles. We adjust the wash depending on the tile type. Concrete, natural slate, fibre cement, we work differently on each one. It’s not one setting fits all.

What’s it like working with us?

Straight. We show up, we look at the roof, we tell you what it needs. No messing. If it only needs a clean, that’s what we say. We’re not going to talk you into a full paint job if the tiles are sound.
