What we do

From the ground up, that is genuinely how every job we take on starts. We lay patios, paths, and garden paving across Halstead, Essex and the surrounding area. Before a single slab goes down, we dig out, compact the sub-base in layers, and get the levels right. That groundwork is what separates a patio that lasts from one that shifts after the first winter.

Materials we work with

We are comfortable across the full range of patio materials. Whatever suits the garden and the budget, we can advise and install it properly.

We source materials locally where we can. The yard off Colchester Road near the Braintree District Council depot is one we use regularly, so we know lead times and what stock is actually on the ground.

How we work

We keep things straightforward. We come out, look at the site, and give you a clear price. No vague estimates. Drainage and falls are always factored in from the start (something a lot of contractors skip until it becomes a problem). Every base is compacted in layers before we get near the surface material.
