How we work

One thing worth knowing about our installation method: where the roof structure and fascia allow, we use a concealed gutter bracket fixing system, which gives a much cleaner finish along the roofline and removes exposed screw heads from the gutter face. It takes a bit more time to set out, but it’s the right way to do it.

Alignment and fall are checked on every job. A gutter that looks level to the eye is often sitting dead flat (and that means standing water, which is where the problems start). We set a proper fall back to the downpipe outlet as standard.

How long does a gutter replacement take?

On a typical semi-detached house, a full gutter and downpipe replacement runs to a day’s work, sometimes a little more if we’re also replacing the fascia boards. We’ll give you a straight answer on timing when we come out to look at the job.

We’ve worked on everything from small terraced houses to larger detached properties across north Dublin. You’ll see our van up around the Fingal area regularly, including near Naomh Barróg GAA club in Cabra, however most of our work is concentrated along this coastline.
