Lusk Guttering

Blocked gutters, leaking joints, fascias rotting away at the roofline. That is what most people are dealing with by the time they call me.

I cover north County Dublin from Lusk, and I deal with guttering and roofline work day in, day out. uPVC, cast iron, aluminium seamless runs, it all comes through the door.

I get asked about cast iron restoration more than people expect, particularly on older homes around the north Dublin coastline. Guttering that old has character, it would be a shame to skip straight to uPVC without at least looking at what can be saved.

(Dry, nothing fails. Cast iron in a north Dublin winter, however, is a different conversation.)

What happens on the survey

When I come out to look at your job, here is what I do:

1. Walk the full roofline and check every bracket, joint, and downpipe outlet for condition and fall.
2. Check soffits and fascias for rot or movement before quoting any new gutter work on top of them.
3. Confirm where water discharges and whether your existing soakaway or gulley is clear and taking the flow.
4. Give you a written quote before I leave, no chasing me for it.
