Portmarnock Guttering

Who we are

Portmarnock, County Dublin. That’s where we’re based, and it’s where most of our work comes from, though we cover a fair spread across north County Dublin. We’ve been at this long enough to know what coastal weather does to guttering up here.

What do we actually do?

Everything on the roofline, from the gutters themselves down to the fascia and soffit boards underneath. We work with uPVC, aluminium seamless runs, and cast iron where older properties need it kept original. Brackets, hoppers, downpipes, leaf guards, the lot.

  • New gutter installation and full replacement runs
  • uPVC and aluminium seamless gutters and downpipes
  • Cast iron gutter restoration and repair
  • Ogee, square-line and half-round profiles
  • Soffit and fascia board replacement
  • Leaf guards and gutter mesh fitting
  • Connection to soakaways, gullies and rainwater diverters

One thing that catches people out is the downpipe back plate masonry fixing. If those fixings have corroded into the render or brickwork, the whole downpipe can be hanging on fresh air. We sort that properly, not with a bit of silicone and hope.

What areas do we cover?

Portmarnock and the surrounding D13 area mostly, but we work across north Dublin regularly. We’re not far from the Clontarf Road Dublin Bus garage, so we know the northside runs well. Give us a call if you’re not sure whether we cover your area.

Can you work in winter or during wet weather?

Honestly, yes, within reason. We won’t go up a ladder in high wind, we’re not gombeens. But overcast days and light rain are fine for most repair and replacement work. Winter is actually a grand time to get guttering sorted, before the heavy spring blockages start.
