What do we actually do?

We lay patios, plain and simple. Porcelain tiles, Indian sandstone, concrete flagstones, block paving. We work with the material that suits your garden, your budget, and the ground conditions underneath. Not every surface behaves the same once you start digging.

What kind of jobs do we take on?

All sorts. Tight terraced gardens where rear access means everything has to come through the house, materials carried by hand, no room for a barrow half the time. We’ve dealt with that kind of constraint plenty of times and we plan around it from the first visit. Does that slow a job down slightly? Sometimes, yes. However, we’d rather be honest about that upfront than cause damage rushing.

Bigger open plots are a different animal altogether. Good drainage falls, decent sub-base depth, the right jointing compound for the tile spec. These are the decisions that determine whether your patio looks the same in five years as it does on day one.

We get a lot of work through word of mouth around the SS8 area. Neighbours see a finished job and ring us directly. That’s a grand way to grow a business, and it keeps us honest.

We’ve completed jobs in streets that remind me of places like Coolock Village back home, tight rows, small rear plots, neighbours watching every move. You learn to work clean and work careful in that environment.
