Rain lands hard out here. I grew up watching it back in Dublin, and I know a poorly laid patio when I see one after a wet winter. Falls matter. Drainage matters. Get them wrong and you’re standing in a puddle every time it tips down.

That’s exactly why we take the groundwork seriously from day one. No shortcuts on the sub-base, no guessing on the levels. Irish rainfall taught me that (and it really does teach you, given how relentless it gets between October and March). Essex isn’t Dublin, but the ground still moves and the water still finds the weak spots.

What we lay and build

We work across the full range of surfacing materials. Every job is different, and customers often want to see the options side by side before they decide. Here’s what we currently install:

• Resin-bound surfaces

Beyond the patio itself, we also handle fencing, garden walling, turfed lawns and artificial grass. One contractor, one job, start to finish. It keeps things clean.

How we actually work

We cover Takeley and the surrounding areas of Essex, CM22 and out into the wider Uttlesford district. Most of our work comes through word of mouth from neighbours who’ve seen a finished job and picked up the phone. That’s a decent measure of how things are going, honestly.

We’re not the cheapest quote you’ll find. However, we’re the crew who’ll still be answering the phone six months later if something needs attention.
