What we do

From the ground up, building is what we know best. At Orpington Builders, we handle everything from full extensions and loft conversions through to structural alterations and groundworks, covering BR5, BR6, and the wider Orpington area day to day.

The work itself

Over the years we have dealt with all kinds of conditions across local sites. Cavity wall construction, concrete pad foundations, reinforced blockwork, the technical side is part of every job we price. That experience matters when something unexpected turns up mid-build.

One thing that comes up regularly around here is moisture getting into older properties. We carry out damp proofing work and have put in chemical damp proof anchors into masonry more times than I can count, particularly in houses near The Walnuts and along the older streets off the High Street. It is quiet, precise work, it makes a real difference long-term.
