Rain finds every weakness. I have been fixing gutters across Dublin long enough to know that a blocked or broken system will ruin a fascia board, soak a wall, and cost you far more than the original repair would have. We keep it simple. We sort it properly.

One job I come across regularly is the parapet wall lead flashing junction where water is backing up behind the gutter fascia. Most people do not even know it is happening until the damage shows inside.

How a typical installation day runs

1. Survey the roofline, check fascia condition and measure up
2. Strip out the old guttering and clear all debris
3. Replace any rotten fascia boards before new brackets go on
4. Set the fall correctly and fix new brackets at proper spacing
5. Fit gutter lengths, seal all joints and connect downpipes
6. Run a water test to check flow and outlet clearance
7. Clean up and talk you through what was done

Straightforward, really. (The water test step is the one most cowboys skip, and it is exactly how you find a problem before you pack up the van.)
