Rugby Patios
Rugby Patios
What we do
From the ground up, every patio we lay starts with preparation that most people never see. Properly compacted sub-base, correct falls for drainage, the right bedding mortar for the material. Get that wrong and the finished surface fails inside two winters.
We work across Rugby and the surrounding area, taking on projects from CV21 out to the villages beyond Lawrence Sheriff School. Here is what we typically install:
- Porcelain tiled patios and garden paving
- Indian sandstone and limestone slabbing
- Concrete flagstone installations
- New garden paths connecting patios to the house
- Walling, raised borders and wooden fencing
- Artificial grass and turfed lawns
The materials we use
Porcelain is where a lot of our work sits right now. It is dense, it takes frost well, and when you get into the finer details, things like the porcelain corner step tread bullnose on a split-level design, it finishes a garden off properly. Sandstone still has its place, it has a warmth that porcelain cannot quite replicate, we use both depending on what the garden actually needs.
How we work
We do not rush quotes and we do not rush jobs. You will get a straight answer on timescales, materials and cost before anything starts. However, if your brief changes once work is underway, we will talk it through and adjust rather than push back.
Payment terms
- A deposit is required to secure your start date, typically 20 to 25 percent of the total job value
- Stage payments can be arranged on larger projects
- Final balance is due on completion
- We accept bank transfer and cash
